leaking faucets

Hmmm, interesting.  I haven’t been here in three years!?!?

I suppose I quit coming here because I was using another site, actually two other sites.

Personally I don’t like the Wordpress themes they have here and they’re so limited…and so limited onwhat we can put on here as “widgets” and the like.  I’d like to have more user control, I suppose.

So, it’s been at least three years.

I was checking my old email account which this one is under, I haven’t even used it in a long time.  I got an email from the email site, they sent it to the alternative email addy—and when I went to check it out, I discovered an old email from JS.

You know, I even knew JS before it became this one.  The old one was a lot better than this one, or at least I thought so.

I’d like to find a site which is like the three I’ve been using, you know, a combination of “services”…these three are;

1} Blogger

2} Tumblr

3} Webs

And yeah, in a way, since they have a lot of templates to chose from but you can’t use a Javascript on the journals, like here—Wordpress.  I like a lot of their templates but that’s about it.  Also I found that you now seem to have to purchase the Akismet API Key, or maybe I’m wrong about that…you can use a TYNT account for similar stuff, plus a bit more and it’s free.  Now if Akismet was compatable with Blogger, then I might use them.

Anyway, so maybe I’ll come here a bit more often, or maybe not…I write a whole lot in my other journals elsewhere and I am like totally busy with other things—there’s just not enough “free time” to go around when you want to have the time to be free with… lol

…a long while back i actually had a JS blog.  I went on a tangent once and had left the site I had been on, and came across JS.  I kind of liked the old JS quite a bit, however once the tangent was over, I left.  Of course I came back from time-to-time and wrote some entries, mostly stuff that was more rambles than anything else.

Then, one day…kazaam! It was as if JS never existed.  Bullshit.  Yeah I might have written rambles on my site at the old JS, they might not have been very important, well okay, they were important to me.  Did I ever back-up my journal, that is, download it to save it?  Nope, I was stupid, even now I sometimes don’t back-up my journals or blogs; I am still somewhat stupid.

I’m not sure if I’ll even really stay here.  It’s not the same JS as it was back then, however is that good or bad?  I guess that depends on who you are and what you want out of a blog site, or all of those other little reasons we keep inside.

So anyway, here I am…again.  And again, I have to ask myself, do I really want to have another blog and what do I want to do with it?
